Dapper Day At Home: Celebrating Fabulous Fashion Together, From Afar

While the most stylish day of the year could not be celebrated together on April 19th, Dapper Day at Disneyland still lived on in thousands of celebrations around the globe. Devoted attendees and sartorial enthusiasts flooded Instagram’s #DapperDayAtHome with a magical palette of the most beautifully styled looks, a tribute to a beloved Disney tradition since Dapper Day was conceived in 2011. From looks inspired by favorite Disney characters to beautifully curated dresses and accessories reminiscent of the 40’s and 50’s, being inside and far from Disneyland didn’t stop participants from transforming their homes into the Happiest Place on Earth.

Our Editor-In-Chief Paris Kim took part in the festivities from San Ramon, California. A small backyard became a wonderland of sorts with her bluesy spring attire.

Participant @nonpixiedust has us looking at the world through daisy-colored glasses and light!

@dollykitten_marion’s attire is brightened by a dreamy blue and hydrangea touches! We could take a stroll in Manhattan with this ensemble.

After years and years of wondering… we finally out what happened to Rosita! After flying the coop at the Enchanted Tiki Room, she went North, settled down and had a few chicks of her own. 💛 . Eeek! I am so darn excited to participate in my first @dapperday today! Of course I wish it was in the parks, but it was such a nice distraction from all the craziness going on. . Little back story, I initially planned on doing an Enchanted Tiki Room bound with my grandmother’s vintage hair piece with little birds all over it, but I couldn’t find a dress that would work with it. So, I went with the next best thing and picked a character from it instead. My look was inspired by the pics of Rosita (that really does perch at @disneyland’s Tropical Hideaway) and bought almost entirely from @amazon. . How did I do on my first Dapper Day bound?? Are you participating in #dapperdayathome? I can’t wait to see everyone’s outfits and creativity!
